As of 2024, over 650 million adults worldwide are classified as obese, and more than 40% of adults in the United States fall into this category.
Research Study for Volunteers without diabetes who are overweight.
Compensation for study-related time and travel may be available to those who qualify and participate. Even if you don’t qualify, you could receive up to $50 for referring a qualified participant.
Participant Qualifications
General qualifications for obesity studies:
- Must have a medical history of obesity or related conditions, as defined by a BMI of 27 kg/m² or higher.
- Not currently taking medications for weight loss
- Only using diet and exercise
- Must not be diagnosed with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes
- 18 & up
- Health status will be further evaluated through medical history reviews, screening assessments, and a visit with the study physician.

What to Expect from a Trial
Our representative will speak with you about your medical history. If you meet the criteria for a clinical trial, we will ask you to come to the clinic for a screening visit and consultation. During the screening visit, you will consult with a medical staff member about the details of the trial and discuss any known side effects associated with it. We will answer your questions about participating in the trial, and you will be asked to sign an informed consent form.
